The line has also seen many sections rebuilt over the years to account for increasing demand and congestion. As of 2012, the line was already electrified, however was still served by diesel traction to connect with unelectrified lines beyond Chemnitz.It’s your job to take control of the various services on this challenging route. Climb aboard the iconic DB BR 612, this 2-car diesel multiple unit is capable of tilting around corners, being able to achieve higher average speeds while maintaining passenger comfort on regional journeys.
